APPEARANCE: Klaus is about average height with light skin and hair. He has some stubble and blue eyes that only change to gold when he goes to his hybrid state.
PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY: N/A
PERSONALITY: Klaus has many parts to his personality. The trait that is most commonly recognized by anyone who is familiar with him is his ruthlessness. He holds little remorse for his actions and no tolerance for those he feels defy him. This is seen multiple times in the series, first when Katherine goes into her past. In becoming a vampire, her bloodline presumably ends and so does Klaus's means to end the curse (something he was using her for). After she escapes him, he slaughters her entire family for nothing more than revenge. This even goes as far as his family. Rebekah, his half-sister who stuck by him through everything, chooses Stefan (her lover) over him in the 1920's. In turn, Klaus stakes and rests her in a coffin for 90 years. When he awakens her after the years pass, he shows no signs of missing her, claiming her not getting up right away is her way of being dramatic.
At the same time, a part of Klaus yearns to have other by him. He seems almost oblivious and completely ungrateful for all Rebekah's done for him when he admits that he does not want to be alone. He's even brought to tears when the spell that will create more hybrids like him initially feels. At one point, after seeing his mother, Klaus even tries to reunite his family. Though he claims he fears being alone for all of eternity, though, he seems to have no interest in changing his manipulative ways. Klaus is not one that is known to negotiate anything. What he wants, he feels he is entitled to get. He is willing to act upon any threat to make his point as well. The hybrids he creates become 'sired' to him, and so they do whatever they are told. Making friends in a natural way is not something he is familiar with, nor does he seem all too interested in it (aside from Caroline). At one point, Stefan tells Klaus to rid his hybrids from Mystic Falls with them being a threat. When Klaus refuses, Stefan goes as far as almost killing Elena (who Klaus needs to make the hybrids). Klaus stops to agree with him at the last possible moment, though it is obvious he is not pleased about it, as he is used to being the one in charge of the deals.
